We went to see Santa this morning, had to get him early before his big night.
For the first time in the history of our relationship, Papa got the Christmas lights up on Thanksgiving weekend. And, as our neighbors all have their lights up, its looks pretty festive around here; especially at night.
Punkin' has enjoyed looking at our decorations and learning about Santa, baby Jesus, and totally loves her grandmother's Holiday Children. They are these animated dolls all dressed up in their Christmas attire holding candles and toys. They are about the same size as she is, but in the interest of not having them destroyed, Papa has put them up in the loft so we can "look with the eyes and not with the hands." I think she's really going to enjoy the holidays this year and I'm totally excited to see it! Happy Holidays!
